The Great Rescuer

Very few figures loom quite as large in Judaism as Moses. In John 5, Jesus said that it was Moses whom the Jews put their hope in that will accuse them. Now in John 6, John shows Jesus is the fulfillment of the promises prophet like Moses. In these two miracles, we find Jesus to be the "Great Rescuer" who has compassion, provides, and rules.
