Jim Grant, Senior Pastor
Jim Grant is senior Pastor at Heartland Baptist Church in Alton, Illinois. He came to Heartland Baptist from Texas, where he served three churches. He is an Air Force veteran, retiring with 25 years of service. His extensive travels while in the military allowed him the unique ability to have served in the full gambit of churches styles and health. He has a master of divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctorate of Ministry degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological seminary with a concentration on Church Revitalization. He has been married to his wife for 39 years; they have two daughters and five grandchildren.
Steven Trask, Music Minister
Steven joined our staff in January, 2015. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Worship Arts from Missouri Baptist University in 2014. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at a very young age and has been serving the Lord since through the local church, music ministry, and missions.
Jeanie Farrow, Financial Secretary
Jeanie joined our staff December of 2000. Jeanie and her husband Rick live in Godfrey and have an adult son and are the proud grandparents of a grandson, just ask to see pictures. They live on a farm and enjoy wildlife and their dog, Snickers.
Sarah Neuhaus, Office Coordinator
Sarah joined our staff in November, 2013. Sarah and her husband, Monte, have been married for almost 20 years and live in Alton. She has a 14 year old daughter, Addisyn and three grown step-sons, Brandyn, Chris, and Nate. Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Fred.
