Alex Melton, Senior Pastor
I am excited to serve at Heartland and help lead others to know and experience the love of Christ. I am married to Kelli and we have three children (Bekah, Eli, & Hannah). Before coming to Alton, I served as the Pastor of Youth & College at First Baptist Church of Cookeville, TN for 6 years. We saw God do some incredible things in the lives of students and their families, we are excited to see what God will do here as we see the church reach people of all ages.
I am from Florida originally and received my BA in communication from the University of Central Florida before receiving my Masters of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. I love to spend my time with my family and cheering on the UCF Knights and Atlanta Braves.
I look forward to meeting you as you join us for worship!
