At Heartland Baptist, we believe that discipleship is not just an activity that happens in a classroom at a specific time during the week, but a life that is lived out throughout the entire week. The Church has been called to “make disciples” (Mt. 28:18-20), and we believe that this can happen at any time in any place. In developing our discipleship strategy, we wanted to make sure that we covered every aspect of life. Within our strategy, we have thought through the development of gender, personal growth, family (single-parent, nuclear, and grandparent), and community. We want to use each one of our ministries to allow our church to “go” but also to allow the community to “come”.
